  1. Q. I have 10 lore and my opponent has 12 lore. If I quest with my Prince John - Phony King, who has 2 ◊, can I use his Collect Taxes ability to make my opponent lose 2 lore?

    A. No. When a character quests, they immediately gain lore equal to their ◊. This means that in order to use Prince John - Phony King's ability Collect Taxes to have an opponent lose lore, they must have more lore than you after you've gained the 2 lore from Prince John's quest.
